Have the author as the professor for my law school class. Explains the law in a succinct manner and liked the way the professor used the book in the class. I'm unsure as it how it would stand on its own though, without the accompanying text book, but its purpose for the class was just a supplement. One way to improve is to have "sample answers" to the scenarios or at least an outline of the answers to the questions presented. Overall, its a pretty good reference and I will probably end up keeping it instead of selling it back to the book store.

Good HVAC trainning at home.

I went to Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana for two yeas (from 2009 to 2011) and graduated with an "associate of science in construction technology----- HVAC concentration". Neither school nor this video will substitute On-the-Job training. Right after school, I started working for a small residential company doing diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and retrofits. This video does teach you the troubleshooting aspect of HVAC. I wish I would have had this video when I was doing residential HVAC troubleshooting. It would have reinforced my troubleshooting skills. Today, I'm doing new commercial construction HVAC installations. But, after work, I play with my HVAC Training Simulation (I'm not trying to forget whatever troubleshooting skills I have). I gave this product five stars because it does deliver what it promises----to teach you troubleshooting skills. The video does not teach you how to read a blue print, nor how to estimate materials, nor how to install an air-handler, etc., etc. ONCE AGAIN, the video teaches you how to do diagnostics and repair on HVAC units. And this phase of HVAC (troubleshooting) is the hardest one to master and the one that requires the most practice.

Good troubleshooting trainer

I just stated this program and have completed a couple of the exercises. I am very satisfied with it. This simulator is a great program for learning how to troubleshoot. It is not a training program for a beginner. It assumes some knowledge on your part. It would work very well for someone that is already in an HVAC course. In fact it is used by some of the online HVAC courses. It should also work very well for someone who is learning HVAC through on the job training or through self-study. The only thing that I can think of that would be better for learning how to troubleshoot is actual hands on troubleshooting. You will have to spend enough time in the beginning to learn how to navigate the simulation (naturally).
You do not have to be in a junior college to register. I am not.
I am retired and own a few rental trailers. So does my son and my brother. After paying enough of what we considered, outrageous prices for HVAC work on our rentals I decided to learn how to do it myself. I bought a good book (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technology) and I have been studying that along with the wealth of online articles and videos (I already had some experience in electrical troubleshooting, and brazing). This simulator is a great extension of my studies.
For the gentleman that could not register because he isn't in a college, I would suggest he choose an online college and use it for his registration. However, to learn what training you need. Just start the simulations at the beginning and that will show you what you need to study.
I am giving the simulator five stars because I haven't found anything at all wrong with it. If I find anything later, I will add it to this review.

A good simulator if you know the basics of hvac

A good simulator if you know the basics of hvac, if you dont you will be lost. This would go well if you have any hvac book to read and follow along with. I managed to fix a lot of issues in the simulator all based on field experience - but the heating portion i have no clue about, so i am looking forward to reading up on heat and using this sim to enforce memory. I gave it a 4 because i wished it would get a bit more complex, i also notice you cant check continuity on certain devices. I also think a more complete package would have installations that go along with it. I also dont like how all the units look the same, same wiring, same structure, etc. This is a great simulator, but its price should be around 20 considering the units start to look the same. This is the only simulator of its kind, so if you are starting out, it can be a bonus.

good book, just a little slow in the beginning.

This was a retelling of the story of Blue Beard, the pirate. Except instead of being set in Louisiana, it is set in the Bayous of Sanguennay, one of the mythical lands of Ms. Blackstone's Blood Prince series.
Main Characters are Julien Marcon ( AKA Bluebeard), and Dominique Laveau ( the Voodoo Queen).
Julien had a one night stand with Dominique 10 years ago, and ran off, after the sex, but before Dominique woke up. Dominique was so hurt, and upset, that she cursed Julien that his beard would grow in Bright Blue....Making for a very distinctive way to identify a pirate.
Julien has returned, 10 years later, on the cusp of the Midsummer Solstice, and he is telling everyone that Dominique is to be his bride!! Dominique, still harboring a grudge, will not stand for it. And that is the basis of the story....without spoilers
SPOILER: Julien is not all that he seems, nor is his history. As with most of the Blood Prince series, and this new spin off series, people are not always what they seem to be. These are mythical kingdoms, and the underlying theme is picking people to populate and rule the new "inbetwixt and inbetween: kingdom that was created at the end of the last Blood Prince book.
I found the story fun, and interesting, but having way too much filler. It took, in my estimation, way too long for the book to reach the real story. For the first half of the book, there was just too much stuff. Once the book reached about 50% or so, the story line picked up, and became really interesting. There are several characters that I would love to see have their own books ( Tenoch and Drust). I enjoyed the book, and love her retelling of these "fairy tales and lore". However, I would recommend that you read the Blood Prince Series first, to get a better understanding of the Princes and the other minor characters. The Epilogue will confuse you if you have not read that series.

Voodoo, Bluebeards and sexy pirate fun

Julian, a pirate and smugglers life is put in danger when he becomes know far and wide for his blue beard a reminder of the woman he left behind. Dominique is a voodoo queen that fell into lust with a pirate and a heated moment cursed him. Jennifer Blackstream does it again! Creating a world with a pirate you want to whack over the head for being stubborn and a voodoo queen you want to shake. I devoured this book in one sitting and can't wait for more books in the realm of the blood princes.

Love, danger, curses and lust! A classic

This was a new one for me I had never heard of the awesome bird our blue bearded friend turned into. He needed her on and fought it every step of the way. Her magic completed him. Love our crocodile friend / foe. But favorite part was that ( needed some thing blue for the wedding) that was too cool. Lol. The continuation of our angel, vamp, werewolf, gods. Great job and another excellent book from this author. Highly recommend any of her books

Be Very Careful Here!

This review is all about the reviews listed. Every one of them has been posted within a few days timeframe and all are from reviewers with ONLY ONE REVIEW in their history. Plus, reading the actual reviews it just seems to drool similar reviews. They are short and succulent - nothing in depth - nothing showing why someone would want to buy their gold or silver offshore. I wish Amazon could police reviews better. . .

Of course, on the other hand this all may be very legit and on the up-and-up. It could be the author does have a secret way of buying gold cheaper in the Philippines than anywhere else on earth. Could be he has a boat rigged with a giant vacuum and goes under water to simply suck up the gold dust and then comes in at night and spends all night shoveling this gold into small sacks to sell to readers of his book.

One things for sure, if it is as great as he claims, then he will have hundreds more 5 star reviews from all the people getting rich. Maybe we should buy it?

This may be a truly great graphic novel

Wow. I just put this down after plowing through it. This may be one of the truly great graphic novel, more far ranging and yet personal than I expected from any descriptions. This first novel intertwines a few simple subjects like: prostitution in Weimar Germany, holocaust accounts, sadism, desperation for survival and drops those into a pot with late Gothic and renaissance era art and simmers along with schlock horror comics all tethered to the turbulent '60's Chicago of the main protagonists timeframe and her struggles with societal upheaval, disfunctional family and confused sexuality, conveyed with some of the most incredible sketched and hand scratched images in any "comic". A real classic if the second book is half as good as the first. I'm already dying for more.

This book sets a new standard for graphic novels, with the best artwork I've ever seen is this context and a complicated -- but never confusing -- story. Her crosshatching is genius, adding form and texture to faces and objects. The labor must have been staggering.

It was not until 25 years later that the notes became widely available and far more readable when Dr. Robert Lang reproduced clarified versions in his book "Origami Design Secrets" in its excellent chapter on box pleating. It was not until late 2012 when my friend Hank Simon generously arranged to have diagrams produced and made available for everyone. These pages make the model fun and approachable for folders of all ages!

I’m having a great time folding with my son and his friends

My son and I have always been lovers of origami so I am always looking for new books and special origami paper so he can enjoy the full experience when he sits down to fold his different projects. He has been getting a little bored with the normal basic folds and creations he has been enjoying for so long, so as he gets older he’s been wanting to do more challenging things since he does Origami often, and wanting to learn more advanced folds and be able to complete more advanced projects. So I got him this book, since we both loved the first book from this seller. When we got it he sat down with me and didn’t want to stop all night until he got this one fold right. Talk about keeping a child occupied! This book was awesome for me and awesome for him, and he has been at it every day this week. The book shows how to do each fold and with instructions for easy understanding. I think this book is perfect for those at any age with a little experience in origami and needing a bit more of a challenge when creating!

Challenging and Fun!

This project is a bit challenging, but this book explains each step in full detail in addition to great diagrams that help guide you as you are folding. My nephew had a lot of fun making this train with me, and he was so proud of himself when he finished it. If you are into Origami, you need to add this train to your collection. It is so adorable and the book does an amazing job of explaining how to do all of the different folds required to make it. I highly recommend this book. Thumbs Up!

Directions could be more clear...

Obviously, you need to be an advanced folder to take this on. Even still, there are loads of pics that show the paper after it's been folded and unfolded. I'm not a great fan of trying to work out what happened. Still, it's a really cool concept!

EXCELLENT Kids' Bible

I teach Bible lessons at our church, and so I need a new Bible story (and pictures!) every week. I discovered the De Graaf/Montero books while looking for some REALLY good pictures to use with my lessons. Not only is Montero's artistry lifelike and vibrant (I did NOT want to have pictures that looked like cartoons!), but Anne de Graaf does the best job I've EVER seen at re-telling the Scriptures in a way that is both kid-level AND accurate.
The only thing you will see with this BIble, if you've got any other de Graaf/Montero books, is that not all of the illustrations from the individual boosk are included in the Children's Bible. other than that, I'm thrilled with this!
